Meet Our Team

Our team was discipled through Chi Alpha, an Assemblies of God ministry to university student. As students and leaders in Chi Alpha, we had many opportunities to share the gospel, serve out community, and put our faith into action. This experience gave us a deep conviction that the Gospel is good news for everyone.

We learned that many people know about Jesus but haven't experienced his mercy, love, and salvation firsthand. We found that the truth of God's Word and the mercy of the cross came across most clearly when we did what Jesus did: we opened our homes to people who lived and looked differently than we did, shared what little we had with those who had less, and prayed over friends and strangers alike.

After leading in Chi Alpha, graduating, and serving as Chi Alpha missionaries, we felt the Lord lay a desire on our hearts to plant a church centered on the Bible. He put Boulder on our hearts, so we came. Today we gather at The Riverside to open the Bible, pray, and serve our community.

We believe Boulder is a spiritually hungry city. People here long for truth, authenticity, community, and love, and that's why we're called Truth & Love. The truth of the Gospel is that none of us is perfect, yet our heavenly Father loved us so much that he gave his perfect Son to pay our debt. Now he invites us to know him personally and to be perfected as we grow closer to Him and to each other.
